Hayabusa Bass Power Wacky

Hayabusa’s POWER WACKY is a soft-plastic worm hook designed for wacky rigs and neko rigs. Its shape securely holds the worm while allowing the hook point to penetrate deeply into a bass’s mouth. Produced by Daisuke Aoki, the series features a wide gap and optimized bend shape to help prevent the worm from slipping, while providing excellent initial penetration and hooking performance.

The current FF214 POWER WACKY II is a heavy-wire model that follows the established POWER WACKY design and is intended for use around cover. With a weightless wacky rig, set the hook near the center of the worm and allow it to fall freely. With a jighead wacky rig, shake the bait along the bottom after it reaches the bottom. For a neko rig, insert a nail sinker into the nose of the worm to create a falling-over action and entice bites with shaking after the bait reaches the bottom. The FF216 POWER WACKY HEAVY GUARD is a heavy-guard model based on the FF214, featuring size-specific twin-wire guards designed to provide both smooth passage through cover and reliable hook penetration. Choose the model according to whether a guard is needed, the density of the cover, and the tackle being used.
