Hayabusa Bass Hyper Tornado Weighted

Hayabusa’s HYPER TORNADO WEIGHTED is a weighted screw-lock hook designed with particular attention to the swimming balance of soft swimbaits and their posture during the fall. Produced by professional angler Ken Iyobe, this model secures the head of the worm with a screw, helping prevent it from slipping during casting and skipping. By integrating the weight into the hook, it supports both swimming and falling presentations while allowing anglers to adjust the depth range, which can be difficult to control with a weightless rig.

FF208 is available with 1/16, 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 oz weights, along with hook sizes from 3/0 to 7/0. The FF322 HYPER TORNADO WEIGHTED II is offered with 1.8 g and 3.5 g weights in hook sizes from 3/0 to 7/0. To rig it, screw the coil into the head of the worm and position it so that the hook point exits through the back of the worm. For soft swimbaits such as shad-tail designs, it is well suited to a steady retrieve, with the weight used to adjust the swimming depth. Its secure hold on the worm also makes it ideal when you want to reduce head tearing and slippage.
