Hayabusa’s FPJ Jig Head Type Round (PERFECT JIGHEAD TYPE ROUND), produced by Toshinari Namiki, is a standard round-type jig head. It features a short shank and wide-gap design, making it easy to expose the hook point from the soft bait while prioritizing solid hooksets. The short shank pairs well with smaller soft baits and helps preserve their natural action.
The head is equipped with a bait keeper to hold the soft bait securely and reduce slipping. The combination of a straight-shank hook and wide gap makes it easy to rig the soft bait naturally, accommodating techniques ranging from swimming presentations such as mid-strolling to bottom-oriented retrieves with subtle hops and falls. It is also well suited for setups pairing small soft baits with the short-shank design.
