Hayabusa Bass Nail Float

FINA’s NAILFLOAT Lively is a buoyancy component designed to add lift to soft plastics, allowing anglers to target the surface, mid-water, and bottom zones with different postures and actions. It is inserted into the head or tail of a soft plastic, and the presentation can be adjusted—from a floating surface setup and slow-sinking rig to a nose-down, standing posture on the bottom—by changing its position and combining it with a nail sinker.

At the surface, inserting it into both the head and tail allows the soft plastic to float, making it suitable for shaking in place beneath overhanging cover. In the mid-water zone, rigging it for a slow sink and shaking the lure after allowing it to descend at an extremely slow rate creates a rapid-rising action while minimizing horizontal movement. Adding a nail sinker also makes it possible to swim the lure more slowly through a consistent depth. On the bottom, rigging it on a wacky rig or Texas rig allows the soft plastic to remain in a nose-down, standing position for extended periods and produce an action with limited forward movement. The hook tends to remain elevated, making this setup suitable for fishing around cover. Available in M, L, and LL sizes, it can be selected according to the soft plastic being used and the desired posture.
