The HMKL FRY 25 by HMKL was developed as a micro minnow imitating a fry, designed for fishing that takes advantage of its extremely small silhouette. Focusing on the presence of small baitfish that are difficult to match with standard-sized lures, it combines a compact 2.5 cm body with tinsel on the tail. It weighs 0.6 g and is a sinking type. With its small body and sinking design, it can be worked underwater after landing while sinking, rather than being limited to the surface.
In addition to standard casting, it is also suitable for shooting and hover-strolling. As a lightweight micro minnow, it can be allowed to sink after casting or drift underwater when rigged for hover-strolling. Its versatility allows it to be used with different rigs and approaches rather than being limited to a single presentation, making it a fly-style lure suited to finesse techniques that take advantage of an ultra-small silhouette.
