HMKL Wake Jordan

HMKL’s WAKE Jordan was developed to enable an “active presentation” that is difficult to achieve with the HMKL Jordan. This topwater model can be used both as a stationary bait and as an attractor, responding quickly to rod actions such as jerking and retrieving to produce a large wake and metronome-like sound. In addition to the clear water and smelt lakes where the original Jordan excels, it is designed to generate strong appeal even in stained conditions.

When left stationary, the tinsel on the tail glitters. With twitches, it performs a walking-the-dog action accompanied by a moderate splash, while a straight retrieve produces a powerful rolling action, creating a wake and metronome-like sound. After casting, start by letting it float in place; if there is no response, switch between twitches, jerks, and retrieves to trigger strikes. The WAKE Jordan 60 measures 6.0 cm and weighs 2.7 g, offering a compact, bite-sized profile. The WAKE Jordan 75 measures 7.5 cm and weighs 5.2 g, a size well suited to long casts with spinning tackle. Both models use VANFOOK treble hooks, and an N/SHELL version featuring a natural shell plate inside the body is also available.
