Hideup Stagger Claw

HIDEUP’s Stagger Craw is a craw-style soft bait developed to accommodate a variety of presentations, from the fall and bottom work to swimming, with a focus on free rigs and Carolina rigs. The main body features the original Stagger body shape, with large claws at the rear and 10 legs along the underside. The 10 legs act as a keel to reduce the bait’s rotation, while vibrating finely as it falls in a horizontal posture. This creates a hovering action reminiscent of a shrimp suspending in the water. When swum weightless, the claws catch water and move enticingly, producing attraction even during the retrieve.

On the bottom, the hoe-shaped claws extend outward and dig into the bottom as the bait moves, helping limit the distance traveled during a dragging retrieve and allowing presentations that make the bait catch on bottom cover and weeds. It can be used on Texas rigs, free rigs, Carolina rigs, football-style rigs, and as a trailer for rubber jigs. The 4-inch model is designed for use with a recommended #3/0 offset hook. The 3.3-inch model is a downsized version that inherits the 4-inch model’s hovering and swimming action, making it suitable as a trailer for football jigs and small rubber jigs. Despite its compact size, the 2.7-inch model pushes a substantial amount of water and is compatible with drop-shot rigs, jig heads, and small rubber jigs as trailers. The 2.2-inch model combines natural action with water displacement through its soft material and hand-shaped, voluminous design, making it versatile for drop-shot rigs, jig heads, Carolina rigs, and as a trailer for small rubber jigs.
