Hideup Snag Recovery

HIDEUP’s cblm snagged-lure retriever is a replaceable head designed to recover lures caught on underwater structure using a landing-net handle. Remove the head of a commercially available landing net or similar net, then attach the handle to the 4-bun-standard threaded fitting. The stainless-steel head features a section for catching a lure’s hook. Extend the handle to make contact with the snagged lure, then use the hook-catching section to attempt to retrieve it. As this product consists of the head only, a compatible handle must be prepared separately for use.

The lineup includes S, M, and L sizes. The S size is intended for small plugs and insect-style lures, the M size for standard-sized plugs, and the L size for large plugs such as big baits. A key feature is the ability to select the head size according to the lure’s dimensions, allowing a handle normally used with a landing net to be switched to lure-retrieval use when needed. When a lure such as a reaction bait becomes snagged while being worked alongside structure, operate the handle to guide the head to the lure, catch the hook, and dislodge it. A separately sold Retriever Line-Through Wire is also available.
