Berkley’s Chop Block is a soft-bodied glide bait that can produce either a wide gliding action or a quick, tight chopping action. Its soft PowerBait material suppresses splashdown noise while generating natural vibrations, and after a bite, PowerBait’s distinctive taste and scent help prolong the bite. Its tall, wide silhouette features a unique profile designed to resemble a combination of a small baitfish and a bluegill.
Depending on how it is worked, the Chop Block can produce a relaxed, wide glide, a quick, tight chopping action, or an S-action on a steady retrieve. Its slow-sinking design also allows you to let it sink to your desired depth before beginning your presentation. The hook system features a stinger hook system equipped with two double hooks. Although the body is made of soft material, its construction is designed with solid hooksets in mind. It measures 6 inches (15 cm) and weighs 1 ounce (28 g). Because sink rate may vary between individual lures, it can be adjusted with a sinker or similar weight as needed.
