NOIKE’s Smokin' Dad 2.5-inch features a compact body with arms designed to displace plenty of water while continuing to make subtle movements as the bait falls. While retaining the series’ signature water-gripping arms in a 2.5-inch size, it is designed to produce an action with an impressive presence for its compact profile. Measuring 63 mm in length, it is smaller than the Smokin' Dad 3-inch and 3.5-inch models.
The two arms feature a curved shape and move up and down at an ultra-high pitch during the fall, while also producing a rhythmic action during retrieves and bottom presentations. Despite its compact silhouette, the bait easily moves water and supports techniques that make use of the arms’ action, including dragging along the bottom, lift-and-fall presentations, and swimming near the bottom. It is made from a high-specific-gravity material infused with shrimp and baitfish flavors, and its size is easy to handle with bait finesse, power finesse, and spinning tackle around light power.
It pairs well with Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, Jika rigs, bottom-oriented setups such as Cherry-rig-style presentations, and as a trailer for rubber jigs.
