Decoy Maki Sas Keeper — Features & specifications
DECOY’s Makisasu Keeper is a screw-type worm keeper that increases worm retention when paired with your preferred vertical-eye hook. Used as a component in the “Makisasu Hook” series, it features a center shaft that allows the worm to be threaded on for easy, secure, and well-aligned rigging with minimal shifting of the insertion point. Made from a copper alloy that can be easily adjusted by stretching, compressing, or cutting, it is designed to reduce worm tearing and excess waste.
To use it, attach it to a vertical-eye hook, then thread the worm onto it to integrate the hook and worm into a single unit. In addition to mounting it on a hook, it can also be used in setups with different components and positions, such as hanging a sinker from the rig or attaching a blade directly to the worm. Available in SS, S, M, and L sizes, it can be used with a wide range of hook sizes, from small #8-class hooks up to #10/0-class hooks.
