TIEMCO’s Micro Cicada is an ultra-small cicada lure developed for insect patterns during periods when terrestrial insects fall onto the water. Despite its 27 mm, 2.7 g-class floating body, it achieves ample casting distance. On the surface, a light shake creates ripples and reproduces the movement of a struggling insect drifting on the water. Its small body makes it easy to cast onto highly pressured water, and it is normally equipped with a single treble hook on the belly.
In current, use a natural drift as the basic presentation, occasionally adding actions such as shaking during the drift. If you want to further reduce the distance the lure travels while shaking, the official recommendation also includes attaching a feather or similar material to the tail. For the dead-drift method, the lure is also designed to accommodate a setup with two single hooks, one attached to the front eye and one to the tail eye. When turning the lure, adjust it with rod movements so that its action does not break down. The hook size is #12, and the ring size is #1.
