TIEMCO’s Glimmer 7 is a plug designed for mid-strolling, developed to reduce missed hooksets when using soft plastics. It features a unique rolling action generated by rod manipulation, allowing anglers to create a mid-strolling presentation with the structure of a hard lure rather than a worm.
With a 70mm body and a sinking weight of 5.6g, it is tuned to target the relatively mid-range depth of 1–3m. It is designed to be worked with rod manipulation while maintaining a consistent depth, and for situations in clear water where bass may bite the lure but are difficult to hook. Recommended tackle includes a 6'2"–7'0" UL to L-action spinning rod, paired with 4–6lb line or approximately PE 0.4–0.8 line and a 4–5lb fluorocarbon leader. The lure is equipped with a W Hook TC Coated #8 on the front and a Pierce Treble Dagger #10 on the rear, with #1 rings used at the line eye and each hook eye. While the Glimmer 7 Light features a slow-sinking configuration for targeting areas near the surface, the Glimmer 7 is designed with midwater fishing in mind.
