DAIWA’s 2WAY SINKER is a newly shaped, inline bullet sinker that allows one sinker to be used in two ways—as a free rig or a Texas rig. Its 2WAY function lets you choose the direction in which the line exits according to the situation, enabling a free-rig mode that makes frequent use of bottom pumping and a Texas mode designed to entice fish with a swimming presentation.
In free-rig mode, its design makes it easier to lift the rig off the bottom when bottom pumping and guide the bait into a position that is easy for fish to feed on. Casting performance and snag resistance have also been taken into consideration. In Texas mode, it is designed to maintain a stable swimming posture and to slip through cover such as weeds. When using the sinker, choose the direction in which to thread the line according to the desired action, bottom composition, and cover conditions. Its inline design allows the hook and soft plastic bait to be connected by threading the line through the sinker, making it possible to set it up as either a free rig or a Texas rig. The lineup includes 5 g, 7 g, 10 g, 14 g, 18 g, 21 g, 24 g, 28 g, 35 g, 42 g, and 56 g models, allowing you to choose the required fall speed and handling feel from lightweight to heavy-duty applications. The color is Matte Khaki, which blends easily into the color of the water.
