DAIWA’s BASSERS WORM TUBE is a thin-walled silicone tube designed to help reduce worm wear. By fitting the tube to the worm size, it is designed to fit the worm more closely and minimize the step at the installation point, making the tube less noticeable. It is used around the point where the worm is threaded onto the hook or on areas that are prone to damage from repeated casting, helping address situations where worm slippage or tearing is a concern.

The lineup consists of two types: a pre-cut version with a length of 2.5 mm and the PRO version, which can be cut to the desired length. Tube diameters of 4, 5, and 6 mm are available. Officially, the 4 mm size is compatible with Neko Straight 3.75 and 5, the 5 mm size with Neko Straight 5 and 5.8, and the 6 mm size with Neko Straight 5.8 and 6.5. Select the size according to the worm’s outside diameter and install it where needed. This small accessory is suitable for setups where you want to adjust how securely the worm is held or how often it needs to be replaced. The short 2.5 mm type is easy to use as is, while the PRO allows you to adjust the length according to the worm and installation position.
