DAIWA TATULA Type NYLON is a nylon fishing line designed to balance low stretch with high strength and high abrasion resistance, providing sensitivity during lure manipulation while remaining easy to handle in real-world fishing situations. The thinner 3–10 lb sizes feature a low-stretch design similar to fluorocarbon, along with a moderate level of stiffness, for a sensitivity-focused setup that makes it easier to impart crisp action to lures. The thicker 12–25 lb sizes combine a high-strength design with a high-abrasion-resistance additive, providing the resilience needed to handle powerful fights.

The line also features DAIWA’s original UWR treatment (Ultra Water Repellent treatment), which enhances water repellency and its durability while reducing surface stickiness. This helps reduce line resistance when casting lightweight lures, improving ease of handling. It is available in Beaujolais Brown, with DPLS parallel winding, in 100 m spools. The 3–10 lb thinner sizes are well suited to setups focused on lure control and sensitivity, while the 12–25 lb thicker sizes are designed for setups that prioritize strength and abrasion resistance. This nylon line is available in size-specific designs to suit different fishing requirements.
