DAIWA’s D TREBLE HOOK SS VP is a center-balanced treble hook designed to provide reliable hook penetration while preserving the lure’s original action. Its surface features SaqSas, a fluoropolymer-based special plating. The low-friction hook point enhances penetration when setting the hook.
The hook features a unique center-balanced design that minimizes interference with the lure’s swimming action, with different shapes and shaft strengths available to suit the target species. The center eye is twisted so that the hook is more likely to remain centered when fitted with a split ring. The 3R is a round type with a rounded throat and wide gap, making it easy to hook fish in the mouth. The 4S has a straight hook-point section and offers enhanced hook-point strength through its sproat-style shape. Suitable for replacing a lure’s stock hooks or refreshing hooks during use, the 3R and 4S can be selected according to the lure’s size and action, as well as the desired hooking performance.
