JACKALL’s JIMMY IMO was developed with a simple, worm-like shape combined with a high-density material and a design that enhances hooking performance, allowing its compact body to be accurately delivered to targeted spots. The 2-inch model uses an ultra-high-density material with salt blended in at the maximum concentration possible under the molding conditions, achieving a weight of approximately 6 g. Its weight is set for easy handling not only with spinning tackle but also with bait finesse tackle. The center-balanced design places the weight at the middle of the body, producing a horizontal fall that is less prone to drifting significantly from the point of entry. This enables precise presentations to tight targets such as the edges of vegetation and vertical structure.

The semi-flat-sided shape pushes water during the retrieve, while light twitches make it entice fish with a dog-walking action underwater. The cross-fin tail stabilizes the bait’s posture both during casting and underwater, while a slit in the body accommodates the hook shank. The balance between the body shape and material hardness has also been carefully adjusted, creating a structure that is suited not only to bites while resting on the bottom but also to bites during swimming presentations. Thanks to its symmetrical top-and-bottom design, it can be flipped over and used when one side becomes damaged. For a weightless rig, the standard setup for the 2-inch model is a 1/0–2/0 SCYTHE or Swivel SCYTHE hook. The 2.8-inch model weighs approximately 11.5 g and uses a material with a reduced salt content compared with the 2-inch model to fine-tune its handling. It is suited to casting with bait tackle, as well as jerking and dragging along the bottom after allowing it to sink all the way down. The recommended hook for the 2.8-inch model is a 4/0 SCYTHE or Swivel SCYTHE.
