JACKALL’s Coilock is a worm hook designed for Neko rigging around cover, with a focus on both worm retention and a smooth transition to the hookset. Its key feature is a coiled suspension keeper positioned along the hook shank. Rather than securing the worm at a single point, the keeper holds it around the shank along its entire length, absorbing impacts from various directions and reducing worm damage.
The hook point is designed with a shallow approach angle to accommodate a self-weedless setup, in which the point is concealed in the worm. The angle is engineered to make the hook point more likely to emerge from the worm even in situations where hook-setting power is difficult to transmit, such as fishing through cover or making long casts. In addition, a size-specific swivel is fitted to help reduce line twist, which can easily occur during retrieval. The hook is also designed for use with bait finesse tackle equipped with fluorocarbon line. To rig the worm, first insert the hook perpendicular to the worm, then rotate the hook from the tip of the coil and screw it in until the entire hook is concealed inside the worm. Available in sizes 1, 1/0, and 2/0, the Coilock features PRO SPEC METAL, a blend developed specifically for fishing hooks, along with a surface treatment using PTFE for excellent low-friction performance.
