JACKALL’s Basspino is a minnow plug developed to target the water just beneath the surface with a wide rolling action—distinct from both the straight retrieve of an “I-shaped” lure and a stationary shake. Despite its long lip, it runs at a shallow depth of approximately 20 cm. Combined with a line eye positioned closer to the tip of the lip, this design produces a large, wide rolling action. The action starts easily even on a dead-slow retrieve, generating strong water displacement at a slow, steady retrieve speed while keeping the lure in a bass’s field of vision for an extended period.
A Slash Ladder is built into the rear of the body. By catching the current, it helps prevent the action from breaking down even during a dead-slow retrieve and maintains a stable level of attraction. Fine texturing has been applied to the gills and body surface to recreate the texture of a small baitfish. It is primarily intended for dead-slow retrieves just beneath the surface, and is well suited to drawing out its wide roll with a steady, straight retrieve. The 70F measures 70 mm in length and features a 4.5 g floating configuration, making it suitable for slowly working shallow water.
