Jackall Dead Slowler

JACKALL’s DEADSLOWLER is a shad-tail worm developed for targeting fish holding close to cover with a dead-slow presentation, prioritizing bite-inducing performance. Large, deep multi-ribs covering the entire body firmly catch the water, producing stable wobbling and fine vibrations even during a slow retrieve. The arch-shaped tail keel extending to the tip of the tail suppresses twisting and creates a wobbling-dominant action. The leaf-style paddle tail, which tapers toward the tip, starts moving readily and is designed to respond quickly even on a dead-slow retrieve. The soft yet moderately firm material also supports the action during slow presentations.

The standard model is suited to slowly retrieving through shallow water, with 4.8-inch and 5.5-inch sizes available to match conditions and bait size. DEADSLOWLER FULL CONTACT is a derivative model made from a high-density material; the 4.8-inch weighs approximately 18 g, while the 5.5-inch weighs approximately 25 g. It is designed to be fished on a dead-slow retrieve through the mid-depth range at 2–4 m, maintaining a stable swimming posture and allowing tight approaches to cover and the tops of weed beds. Pairing it with the SCYTHE offset hook helps prevent the rig from slipping, while contact with cover triggers an irregular action that draws strikes. The 5.5-inch FULL CONTACT produces a powerful action with pronounced head swing, while the 4.8-inch generates a natural vibration with a more restrained head swing.
