JACKALL’s BLAST BONE is a big bait developed to keep the lure close to the targeted spot while enticing bass to bite with a dog-walking action in precise locations. Its wide lip, extending broadly from side to side, catches water to produce a sharp, side-to-side head action while limiting forward movement.
The body features a single-joint design, with the front and rear sections able to move vertically and horizontally. This makes it easy to impart quick action over short distances in response to rod movements. The vertically flattened flat tail is made of worm material, amplifying the lure’s appeal during the underwater dog-walking action while also serving as a brake to limit forward movement. The soft-material tail follows slightly behind the body’s movement, adding an alluring change to the action.
It is well suited for areas where you want the lure to remain in place for extended periods, such as along cover or in shaded areas, by continuously walking the bait with rod manipulation. The lineup includes the 190 mm, 50.5 g BLAST BONE SF and the 150 mm, 26.0 g BLAST BONE Jr SF. Both are slow-floating models. The BLAST BONE SF uses #1 front and #2 rear hooks, while the BLAST BONE Jr SF uses #4 hooks front and rear. Since the tail is made of worm material, store it separately from tails made of elastomer material.
