Jackall Block Ripper

JACKALL’s BLOCK RIPPER is a crankbait developed for bank fishing, allowing anglers to boldly target hard structures such as concrete revetments, stone embankments, wave-dissipating blocks, and fallen trees while reducing snags. Its compact 48 mm body is equipped with a magnetic fixed-weight transfer system. The weight is secured during casting to stabilize the flight posture, then held in place during the retrieve to combine quick, crisp action startup with effective structure-avoidance performance.

The lip features a duckbill design that helps the lure deflect and climb over obstacles upon contact, rather than rolling to the side. The 48MR is designed for a diving depth of approximately 1.2 m and produces a tight, fine wobbling-and-rolling action, offering versatility between a crankbait and a shad plug. The 48SR features a short duckbill lip and is a shallow model designed for a diving depth of approximately 0.8 m. By working the rod up and down, anglers can probe roughly the 0.5–1.0 m range. Both models are floating types and are primarily intended to be retrieved at a steady speed along revetments, stone embankments, and the edges of cover. Both front and rear hooks are size #6. When tying the line to the split ring, the official recommended setup is to ensure that the line eye does not contact the single-wire section and to position the knot on the double-wire section.
