JACKALL’s Geronimo MAGNUM is a crankbait designed to target shallow water by combining speed, vibration, and volume while taking advantage of the buoyancy and action unique to natural balsa wood. Its body is made from ultra-lightweight balsa wood, delivering a super-high-floating performance that is difficult to achieve with ABS. It is designed to rise readily when contacting cover, helping reduce the risk of snagging. The lightweight body also contributes to a powerful, ultra-high-pitch wobble-and-roll action.
The key components that affect the action, including the lip, line tie, and weights, feature an Axe Frame structure made by precision-molding ABS as an integrated unit. This helps reduce the individual variations common with balsa wood lures and makes it easier to achieve a consistent action. The 70 mm, 17 g body is designed with a well-balanced configuration that provides a lighter retrieve feel than its size would suggest while also taking casting distance into consideration. By varying the retrieve speed from slow to fast, anglers can efficiently search around shallow-water cover and across broad areas.
