Sawamura Neko Ring Setter

Sawamura Neko Ring Setter is designed to easily position an O-ring anywhere on a soft plastic worm and attach a hook to it. Instead of inserting the hook directly into the worm when fishing a neko rig or wacky rig, setting the hook through an O-ring helps reduce the risk of the worm tearing or being lost during full casts or hooksets. Because the O-ring position can be adjusted before setting the hook, the worm can be mounted at different locations. Depending on how it is rigged, the design also takes into consideration reducing snags around heavy cover.

Available in S and M sizes, the S is suited for worms approximately 4–7 mm in diameter, while the M is suited for worms approximately 7–11 mm in diameter. The S includes nine Neko Rings, and the M includes 10. To use, thread the O-ring onto the desired position on the worm with the setter, then attach the hook to the ring. Replacement rings are also available: the S-size rings fit the S Neko Ring Setter, and the M-size rings fit the M Neko Ring Setter. Replacement rings are O-rings intended for replacing rings that have already been used.
