Zappu Gain Standard Sinker

ZAPPU’s STANDARD SINKER is a sinker series developed in response to angler requests under the supervision of professional anglers Takuma Hata and Kenta Onishi. Based on standard shapes, the series incorporates ZAPPU’s expertise in high-precision machining, with meticulous attention to detail even though the sinkers are made from lead. The lineup includes three types—Down Shot, Bullet, and Free Rig—allowing anglers to select the shape and function suited to each rig.

The Down Shot type is designed for enhanced sensitivity when feeling the bottom, and sizes up to 1/8 oz feature an automatic line stopper. The Bullet type has a finish that suppresses the characteristic glare of lead and uses a nylon tube in the line hole to help protect the line. The Free Rig type features a streamlined shape with a triangular cross-section, designed for a fast fall and reduced tendency to roll along the bottom. This makes it easier to keep the sinker in a pinpoint location when used with free rigs or direct rigs. Depending on the rig and presentation, it can be used to monitor bottom conditions with a down shot, or to hold the sinker in the targeted spot with a free rig or direct rig.
