Zappu Gain Pile Driver

GAIN CORPORATION INC.’s PILE DRIVER is a worm hook designed for use in heavy cover while keeping the worm securely positioned. The snagless keel extending from the line eye to the nose is designed to contact obstacles before the worm’s head, helping prevent the worm from turning over or sliding out of position when it comes into contact with cover. The hook is equipped with a corkscrew worm keeper that firmly holds the worm, making it easier to keep the worm securely in place when casting into dense, complex cover.

To rig the hook, screw the tip of the worm onto the corkscrew worm keeper, then set the hook point into the worm. The slightly elongated hook point is designed to catch the bass’s upper jaw and penetrate easily through to the bend, helping reduce the chance of the fish coming unbuttoned after the hookset. The combination of the snagless keel and corkscrew worm keeper makes it easier to keep the worm securely rigged while working it through cover.
