Cormoran Namazu Double Hook

CORMORAN’s Double Hook for Namazu is a barbless double hook designed with consideration for how it sets in a catfish’s mouth and how the hook moves during the fight. The hook is spread at approximately 120 degrees and features a somewhat flattened profile. It is designed to hook into the side of the catfish’s mouth when setting the hook.

The shank is secured with shrink tubing, creating a structure that helps prevent the hook from opening or coming loose from the body during the fight. A rolling swivel is fitted at the connection between the hook and lure, allowing the hook to rotate easily in response to the fish’s movements while reducing stress on the lure body. To replace the hook, use nippers or pliers to open the lure’s screw eye, thread the spare hook through it, and then close the screw eye to attach it. When attaching it to a lure that uses an 8-pin system, use a split ring.
