KEITECH Tungsten Drop Shot Slim Weights are pure tungsten drop shot sinkers developed over many years to deliver the level of performance expected from sinkers used with the company’s own soft plastics. Made from tungsten with a specific gravity of 18, they take advantage of the material’s ability to offer a more compact design than lead of the same weight, resulting in a slim body. This compact profile helps reduce resistance in the water and along the bottom, while the shape is designed to make the sinker less likely to snag in cover.
With a drop shot rig, the sinker is positioned below the soft plastic to get the rig down to the bottom, while rod movements, dragging, or shaking are used to entice fish. The sinker’s slim profile is well suited to working over bottom contours and around cover, making it ideal for finesse-oriented setups. Available in eight sizes from 1/16 oz to 1/2 oz, the weights can be selected to match a variety of situations, from lightweight rigs in shallow water to setups requiring more weight in deeper water or areas with current. Tie a drop shot leader to the line eye on the sinker, then attach the hook above it.
