Keitech Custom Leech

KEITECH’s Custom Leech is a leech-style soft bait developed around a subtle presentation with a lightly hooked rig on a drop shot. For its return to the market, the design was reevaluated and changed from the previous vertically asymmetrical body, which was intended for horizontal rigging, to a vertically symmetrical body shape. This allows it to be rigged both horizontally and vertically. In KEITECH’s field tests, the vertical rig produced more bites than the horizontal rig, and the 3-inch model is an easy size for trying this setup.

The slim leech body and paddle tail naturally shimmer underwater when lightly moved on a drop shot, producing a noticeable presence even with subtle movements. The basic setup is a drop shot with a small hook lightly inserted near the center of the body, allowing the angler to switch between vertical and horizontal rigging according to the conditions. In addition to continuous shaking, it is also suited to slowly dragging the rig and pausing, and can be used with a standard drop shot. This model is ideal for finesse presentations focused on coaxing bites while taking advantage of a lightweight leech-style soft bait.
