Keitech Easy Shiner

KEITECH’s Easy Shiner is a shad-tail soft bait born from the idea of combining the asymmetrical body design of the Shad Impact with the tail action of the Swing Impact series. The finely cut tail catches water and starts swimming easily even on slow retrieves, producing an action in which the entire body rolls while swinging widely in sync with the tail movement. Materials with different specific gravities are used in the body to fine-tune its balance and action. In addition to KEITECH’s distinctive two-tone injection molding and salted soft-plastic construction, the Easy Shiner also incorporates a natural squid flavor.

When rigged on a jig head, a steady swimming retrieve is the basic presentation, while adjusting the weight allows you to change the swimming depth and retrieve speed. The 2-inch model is suited to small jig heads and drop-shot rigs, while the 3.5- to 4-inch models work with jig-head rigs as well as Texas rigs for better passage through vegetation. The 4.5-inch model can be used on Alabama rigs and as a ChatterBait trailer, while the 5-inch model is suited to Carolina rigs and other applications. Slits on the top and bottom of the body indicate the hook-setting position, making it easy to rig offset hooks straight. Sizes range from 2, 4, 4.5, 5, and 8 inches, allowing you to choose the appropriate model for the size of the forage and the rig being used.
