KEITECH Inc.’s Live Impact was designed around the concept of giving soft plastics a lifelike presence underwater. Its shape, material firmness, and buoyancy are carefully balanced, featuring a ringed ribbed body with a thin, understated split tail. The highly buoyant material helps the bait maintain a natural posture. The tail responds to even subtle currents and movements, transmitting that action through the body to create vibration during a quiet presentation. A centered slit makes it easy to rig the hook correctly, and natural squid flavor is also incorporated into the body.

On a drop-shot rig, its buoyancy helps keep the bait suspended above the bottom, and it can also be fished with a wacky rig to let it drift naturally. In current, the ribbed body and split tail catch the water and create a natural presentation. On a jig head rig, the tail is designed to keep moving even while the bait is paused, while the body is prone to stand upright when it reaches the bottom. It can also be used on Texas rigs, split-shot rigs, shaky heads, and as a jig trailer. Available in 2.5-inch and 3-inch sizes, it accommodates finesse presentations suited to each size, including wacky-rigged drop shots with a mosquito hook and wacky setups with a tungsten jig head.
