GAN CRAFT’s Ayrton63 SR is a crank shad developed around the concept of “casting far, swimming powerfully, and catching fish on a straight retrieve.” It combines the slender body profile of a shad with the powerful action of a crankbait, and is designed primarily for efficiently covering shallow water with a steady retrieve. The retrieve resistance and action are easily transmitted to the angler’s hand, making it easy to monitor the lure’s movement while continuing the retrieve.

The buoyant 63 mm, approximately 7.3 g body is designed to reach a maximum depth of approximately 1.5 m. Despite its slender profile, it swims powerfully, allowing anglers to cast long distances and efficiently search a wide area. In addition to a steady retrieve at a consistent speed, adding twitches or jerks produces a sharp action and flash. The standard hooks are size #6 on both the front and rear. Centered on searching shallow water with a steady retrieve, this model can also be used in combination with rod movements to vary the action.
