GAN CRAFT’s Ayuja JOINTED CLAW is a big bait developed to produce an S-shaped action that mimics the swimming path of a fish, using a lipless jointed body rather than the wobbling or rolling action generated by a lip. The standard JOINTED CLAW 178 draws a relaxed, wide S-curve, with the action width changing according to the steady retrieve speed. Because the jointed sections synchronize the movement of the body, it is primarily suited to a straight retrieve at a constant speed, while also responding to stop-and-go retrieves and rod-work-induced jerks during the retrieve.

The JOINTED CLAW Kai 148 features a smaller body and a higher-pitch S-shaped action with a narrower swing than the 178. The SHIFT 113 and 183 are equipped with a ROM damper at the rear joint, allowing them to produce different swimming actions from slow to fast speeds by varying the retrieve speed and reeling pitch. The models are available in types such as floating and slow-sinking, and the standard hook size differs by model.
