Caltiva Jikarig Spin Sinker

OWNER Cultiva’s Direct Rig Spin Sinker (JR-22) is designed to reduce line twist and help prevent problems such as line breakage in direct rigs, free rigs, and deep-water drop-shot rigs by allowing the sinker itself to rotate. A swivel is built into the eye, making it less likely to inhibit the sinker’s rotation even when a worm and hook are rigged, while helping release line twist caused by the movement of the rig.

The rotating mechanism is said to provide a slight increase in casting distance and somewhat improve snag resistance when dragging the sinker along the bottom. In a direct rig, it can be paired with a sinker and hook to search the bottom; in a free rig, it supports bottom control with the sinker leading the presentation; and in a drop-shot rig, it can be used for setups focused on reaching the bottom in deep water. Choose from seven weights ranging from 1/8 oz (3.5 g) to 1 oz (28 g), allowing you to match the sink rate and bottom sensitivity to the conditions—from light presentations in shallow water to reaching the bottom in deep water or areas with current.
