GAMAKATSU’s HORIZON JIG HOOK is a worm hook designed for hover-strolling, weightless swimming, and making your own jig heads. It is available in a wide range of sizes, making it easy to choose the right hook for the worm and technique being used.
Hook sizes include #2, #1, 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0, allowing you to select the appropriate size according to the worm’s bulk and rigging setup.
The hook features a Nano Alpha finish. In addition to providing excellent penetration, it is designed with rust resistance in mind. It can be used for rigging worms directly onto the hook, as well as for making custom jig heads by adding a separate weight. For hover-strolling, set the worm on the hook and let it drift through the mid-water column. For weightless swimming, the worm’s own weight is used to produce a swimming action. When necessary, a homemade jig head can be used to adjust the fishing depth and fall rate.
