OWNER’s STINGER® SIWASH Hook 5171 features an open-eye design that makes it easy to replace treble hooks with single hooks. The hook can be passed through the lure’s eye and then closed, allowing hook replacement without removing the split ring. The eye is dual-tempered for increased strength while still allowing it to be closed after installation.
The hook features an XXX-strong shank, a deep-throat gap with a deep bend, and a Super Needle Point, with a black chrome finish. Set the open eye onto the lure’s eye or split ring, then close the eye to prevent the hook from coming off. Available in sizes #1 through 8/0, it can be selected to match the lure size or the size of the hook being replaced. Designed as a replacement for treble hooks, it is easy to use when setting up a single-hook configuration.
