OSP NICHIKA167F is a hybrid swimbait that combines a hard-material head with a soft-material tail, delivering both a natural presentation and substantial volume. The head is made of ABS, providing the stability and fast-retrieve performance of a hard lure while pursuing the lifelike movement created by its fish tail. It maintains a horizontal posture, with only the tail swinging rhythmically from side to side while the front section follows with minimal excess movement, producing a lively wobble action. It accommodates a wide range of retrieve speeds, from dead-slow to fast, and is primarily designed to be worked slowly above the bass’s eye level.

Buoyancy and running depth can be adjusted with sinkers attached to the head. It can be left suspended on the surface without a sinker, or fished at different depths by choosing between the 2 g and 3.5 g sinkers. With the 3.5 g sinker attached, it can also be left stationary on the bottom. During a steady retrieve, only the fish tail vibrates naturally, creating a baitfish-like swimming action with subdued attraction. It comes equipped with a Hayabusa KEN CLAW #2 hook at the front and a #3 hook at the rear, along with dedicated pins, wire, and a spare soft-material body. After use, it is recommended to store the head and soft-material body separately.
