OSP I-Waver

OSP’s i-Waver 60 SSS is a downsized model of the i-Waver 74, developed to make “i”-style fishing easy for anyone to use. This lipless minnow shad is designed for situations with small baitfish or when fish are likely to shy away from larger lures due to heavy fishing pressure. Measuring 60 mm and weighing 2.6 g, it is tuned for a super-slow sink and can steadily track depths of 20–40 cm below the surface.

It features a jointed construction designed to keep the lure from moving unnecessarily, suppressing unnatural seesaw-like up-and-down movement of the entire body caused by waves, wind, or the retrieve. Special fiber hair that resembles the fins of a small baitfish gently flutters, while the lure’s precisely tuned specific gravity helps it maintain a stable horizontal posture. While the i-Waver 74 uses two hooks, the 60 SSS features a single hook mounted on the front body only. The hook placement takes into account the risk of tangling, casting performance, and ease of keeping the lure on the intended course. Equipped with a #10 hook, the single-hook design also reduces air resistance during casting and minimizes the unnatural feel of the lure. The basic retrieve is a slow, steady wind just beneath the surface, but when a fish is seen chasing, twitches can be added to trigger reaction bites. Two replacement lengths of special fiber hair are included.
