OSP’s DAIBUZZIN’ HEAVY HITTER is a noisy topwater crankbait developed to make its presence strongly felt by big bass in specific situations. Focusing on the sounds produced when big bass respond to lures swimming on the surface, OSP pursued both sound quality and volume. The rolling sound of the body, made from a proprietary ABS resin blend, is combined with the knocking sound produced as two large tungsten weights strike the internal walls. Together, these two sounds create a unique echo effect as they resonate simultaneously.

The 64mm, 17g body is designed for the topwater range, tracking just beneath the surface while producing a powerful wake and loud sound reminiscent of a swimbait. Its sound and wake are easily carried across a wide area, allowing the lure’s presence to be conveyed quickly to the zone you want to trigger. It is intended for use in conditions where visibility and the amount of information transmitted underwater are often limited, including shallow-water games from summer through fall, rivers where strong appeal is needed in current, stained water, low-light conditions, and rainy weather.
