EVERGREEN’s Flutter Gizmo is a soft bait designed to imitate small prey drifting and crawling underwater. It combines a lifelike rubber action with the drawing power of wings. Unlike the original Gizmo, which is designed for use on the surface, the Flutter Gizmo uses a standard soft-plastic worm material with a focus on underwater presentations. It is unsalted to replicate creatures drifting through the water, and features a special formula richly blended with shrimp and squid ingredients.
The 3.8 cm body is equipped with wings, a head, and two long rubber tails. The wings flutter underwater, creating an erratic action like fleeing prey. Their resistance to the water also makes the bait effective for stationary presentations with minimal movement. The head catches water to enhance its presence and produce an action with varied speed and rhythm. When the action is paused, the rubber tails softly fall behind the body, creating a distinctive self-generated presentation. The body is shaped to accommodate an offset hook, allowing the hook point to be concealed for a natural rigging. It also provides sufficient thickness and height for securely rigging with a small trout hook, creating a stable posture that minimizes unnecessary movement during the fall.
