Evergreen Claw Motion

Evergreen’s Claw Motion is a compact yet bulky, ultra-high-specific-gravity craw worm developed to penetrate cover and reach the bottom even when fished weightless. Weighing approximately 10 g at 3 inches, it is easy to cast without adding a nail sinker and is designed for cover penetration, snag resistance, and ease of reaching the bottom. During a backslide, it limits the sliding distance and brings the fall angle closer to vertical, pursuing an action that is less likely to snag in cover. During the fall, the claws do not move excessively, helping the bait pass through cover without hindrance. Once it reaches the bottom, however, rod movement causes the arms to spread laterally from their bases and quickly close, producing a distinctive action that entices fish.

It is primarily designed for use on a weightless backslide rig, allowing it to be sent deep into cover or down to the bottom. If there is no response immediately after it reaches the bottom, add action with the rod. On a Texas rig or free rig, it produces a high-impact action that moves the claws during the fall. It is also compatible with free rigs, Carolina rigs, rubber jig trailers, and bladed jig trailers.
