Evergreen J X J Minnow

Evergreen’s J×J Minnow is a jointed minnow developed for selective bass that are focused on baitfish. While designed to handle specialized situations, it does not require a highly specific setup or advanced manipulation. Its size makes it easy to keep casting and retrieving with the basic throw-and-wind approach, while producing a noticeable, yet not overly aggressive, action and vibration. It is designed for baitfish patterns involving smelt, ayu, shirauo, and other baitfish.

Measuring 70 mm and weighing 4.5 g, this slow-floating lure has a diving range of 0–50 cm. Its jointed construction creates a natural baitfish presence, and it is easy to use primarily with a steady retrieve. It features a size #1 ring on the line eye and size #1 rings on both the front and rear hook eyes. The standard hooks are an EG Treble Magic, fluorine-coated, size #8 on the front and size #10 on the rear. Light to medium-light baitcasting tackle and ultralight to light spinning tackle are recommended.
