Evergreen Lucy

EVERGREEN’s Lucy is a slim curly-tail worm developed with bite-inducing performance in mind to help anglers catch their “first fish.” Its subtle, understated silhouette encourages fish to bite, while the moderately thick curly tail displaces water and provides enough attraction to let fish know it is there.

Rather than moving the entire body significantly, Lucy is designed to minimize unnecessary movement while making the tail twitch finely. Its relatively soft, salt-rich material allows the tail to respond quickly. The body’s inverted triangular cross-section stabilizes its posture while swimming and falling, while fins on the body help prevent rolling and spinning. Centerlines on the back and belly serve as guides for positioning the hook straight through the center of the body. The formula also contains a blend of shrimp, squid, and baitfish ingredients.

The recommended rig is a drop-shot rig. It is primarily designed to be dragged slowly along the bottom, but it can also be worked with short rod twitches followed by pauses. Because the curly tail moves with even the slightest current or input, it continues to attract fish without constant manipulation. Nose-hooking with a #2 mosquito hook is the standard setup, while a #3 offset hook is intended for areas with dense weeds. For the 3.2-inch model, the baseline setup is a 65L-class spinning tackle with 5 lb fluorocarbon and an approximately 20 cm leader, using sinkers of around 2.7 g, 3.5 g, or 5 g depending on the fishing depth.
