Evergreen Clap Buzzer

EVERGREEN’s Clap Buzzer is a 6-inch model designed for big bass, pursuing a contrasting stop-and-go action that combines the body’s quiet, straight tracking with the tail’s sudden changes in movement. Its low-salt material provides buoyancy and a supple, chewy texture, while the large body ensures a strong presence and generates a natural vibration and water displacement that effectively engages with the water.

The flattened body suppresses rolling and wobbling to stabilize the swimming posture, allowing it to track straight without the wavering action of an I-shaped lure. The short, firm tail extends in the same direction as the body and is designed to intermittently move and stop according to retrieve speed while paddling the water at a tight pitch. At ultra-slow speeds, its action becomes irregular; as the retrieve speed increases, it suddenly begins to thrash, and when paused, it stops moving instantly. This makes it suitable not only for a steady retrieve, but also for techniques incorporating pauses and falls. With a weightless rig, nail rig, or weighted rig, it can be used for steady retrieves, retrieve-and-stop, retrieve jerks, and bottom jerks. With a leaderless drop-shot or Texas rig, it supports steady retrieves, fast retrieves, dragging, lift-and-fall presentations, and hanging on or pulling away from cover. A 6/0 or larger wide-gap offset hook is recommended. Use the dorsal and ventral slits as guides to center the hook, adjusting it so the tip of the tail points downward.
