Evergreen Football Jig

EVERGREEN’s Football Jig Silicone Rubber Model is designed to enhance the fast fall and bottom sensitivity expected of a football jig, accommodating a wide range of techniques from vertical falling to bottom presentations. The head features a low-center-of-gravity football head made of resin tungsten, with the weight concentrated in the head by eliminating weight from the trailer keeper section. This allows the jig to fall faster and more vertically while producing the crisp, distinctive movement characteristic of a football jig. The wire-style trailer keeper makes it easy to thread on a soft-plastic trailer and helps prevent it from slipping, maintaining a stable action.

The skirt uses fine-cut silicone rubber that is one grade thinner than the silicone rubber used on the Casting Jig Silicone Rubber Model. While retaining the firmness and water displacement characteristic of silicone rubber, it reduces resistance for a quick fall and crisp, responsive movement. It also features natural colors that pair easily with trailer worms. The 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz models are equipped with the same-size original hook, balancing hook-setting response and strength. It supports techniques including vertical falling, lift-and-fall, honga-ring, bottom crawling, and bottom stays, and is available in 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz weights.
