Evergreen Double Motion

Evergreen’s Double Motion is a craw-style soft lure developed for pitching into cover in the shallow, stained waters of the Kasumigaura water system. It is designed to make bass notice its presence and trigger a bite even during a short fall. Large hands churn the water with a vigorous action, while the double curl tails flutter enticingly, producing two distinct actions simultaneously as the lure falls. In addition, the uniquely shaped legs generate subtle vibrations, while the ribbed belly traps air to create a lifelike presence.

In addition to close-quarters cover fishing with a Texas rig or Zero Dan (Jika rig), the Double Motion is also suited for use as a jig trailer in stained shallow cover and as a football jig trailer in deep water. Slits on the back and belly serve as guides for hook entry and exit points, making it easy to rig the lure in a well-balanced position through the center of the body. It is available in 3.6-inch and 4.2-inch sizes, with the 4.2-inch model featuring added protrusions to help keep its enlarged hands from clinging to cover. The 3.6-inch model was updated in 2020 with a new material offering improved hook-holding strength and a higher salt content. The material helps reduce hook slippage and the hook point pulling through during skipping and cover fishing, while also maintaining good castability.
