Evergreen’s Combat Pencil Jastine is a pencil bait developed to work the surface with a natural presence, featuring a compact, slim silhouette and a silent, non-rattle design. Its short slide width makes it easy to produce a quick dog-walk action that resembles fleeing baitfish, triggering bites with rapid, continuous action.

A relatively heavy fixed weight for its body size, combined with a body shape designed to reduce air resistance, provides a stable flight posture and easy casting. The flat sides push water while reducing roll and limiting hook swing. Its approximately 45-degree floating posture and three-hook configuration on a compact body are designed to keep the hooks effective both during pauses and while working the lure.
