Abu Garcia Namazu Hunter

Abu Garcia’s NAMAZU HUNTER is a two-piece baitcasting rod series designed with each model optimized for casting accuracy and lure control at close range, as well as long-distance casting and cover fishing performance in open areas. The NAHC-662M is designed for narrow waterways and other spots where casting accuracy at close range is essential, with specifications that make lures under 1 oz easy to handle. The NAHC-682MH combines close-range maneuverability with long-distance casting performance through its 6'8" length, while its powerful butt section makes it well suited for working through heavy, complex cover.

The blanks feature a tubular construction made from 30% carbon and 70% glass. Both models have a regular taper and regular action. All guides feature double wrapping, and Fuji all-double-foot guides are used throughout. The top guide is fitted with a Fuji SiC ring, while the remaining guides use O-rings. The rods also feature a Fuji TCS reel seat designed to provide stability when equipped with a round reel. The NAHC-662M is 6'6" long with M power, a lure rating of 3/16–1 oz, and a line rating of 8–20 lb. The NAHC-682MH is 6'8" long with MH power, a lure rating of 1/4–2 oz, and a line rating of 12–30 lb, allowing anglers to choose the appropriate model based on the fishing spot and lures being used.
