Abu Garcia Bass Field

Abu Garcia’s BASS FIELD is designed to make it easy to start bass fishing while providing a rod you can continue using for years. It combines ease of use with serious specifications and is available in both baitcasting and spinning models, allowing you to choose the right rod for your lures and fishing conditions.

The blanks feature a tubular construction made from 98% carbon and 2% glass. Spigot joints are used at the connection points to provide a smoother bend through the joint. The rods are equipped with FUJI guides (O-ring), while the butt end features an aluminum plate engraved with the Abu Garcia logo by laser cutting. The baitcasting models feature a fast action. The BSFC-652ML is a versatile light-lure model that is easy to use with lightweight lures such as neko rigs, weightless rigs, and small hard plugs. The BSFC-662M is an all-around model compatible with a wide range of lures, including crankbaits, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, jigs, Texas rigs, minnows, and topwater plugs. The BSFC-672MH is a power-oriented model capable of handling everything from jigs and cover fishing to crankbaits, large minnows, lipless crankbaits, and spinnerbaits.

Among the spinning models, the BSFS-622UL is designed for ultralight rigs, featuring a sensitive tip and a powerful butt section. The BSFS-632L and BSFS-672L are light-power, fast-action models designed for lures weighing 0.9–9 g. All models are two-piece rods, making the series convenient to transport.
